Worship and Special Services
Join us each Sunday morning for this early service held in our lovely Moye Chapel, located on the east-side of the CGCC campus. Amid the lush foliage of our meditation gardens and the grandeur of our new beautiful fountain, you enter into this more intimate setting where quiet prayer, a challenging message, and music from one of our gifted soloists is the order of the morning. The Sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated each week in this service. Childcare is always available.
Worship each Sunday morning
We gather in the beauty of our historic Spanish-style sanctuary to be engaged in meaningful worship which feeds our spiritual hungers. We are led in thoughtful prayer which expresses our deepest needs; we listen to stimulating sermons which stretch our vision; and we learn to recognize God’s grace in our lives. Our outstanding choirs provide music which makes our souls soar. It is said that each week is a bit different; but every week there is something that challenges and calls us to be more than we thought possible. No matter where you are on your faith journey; you will find a place with us. Sunday School and childcare is available during this service.

During the 11:00 worship, all are invited to come and celebrate with our community as our Third Graders receive their Bibles as a gift from all of us.
Our President Elect, Barack Obama, will be inaugurated on Tuesday, January 20, 2009. At that point he will begin his first 100 days in the presidency. That is a time for the whole world to watch this new administration and see what the new president can accomplish. Coinciding with those first 100 days, Coral Gables Congregational Church will have 100 days of prayers. We invite you to join our community of faith to be in prayer for our new president, our nation and the world.
If you would like to be part of the 100 days of prayer, you can log onto our website every morning and read the prayer of the day. The 100 days will overlap with the season of Lent and Easter, during which we will have special activities and prayers to deepen your spiritual life. So, let us rejoice and welcome our new president prayerfully for 100 days.
We will kick-off our 100 Days of Prayer with a special pre-inaugural prayer service in the chapel on Monday, January 19, at 7:00 p.m. Join us for a service of song, reflection, and prayer as we remember our new president and our country in this time of great transition.
